The Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), through its Boosting Innovation Growth & Entrepreneurship Ecosystems (BIGEE) Project, has partnered with the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO) to host a Webinar under the theme – Intellectual Property:  Demystifying the Myths, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, starting at 10:00 a.m., through to 11:30 a.m.

Christopher Brown, BIGEE Project Manager, explains that, “The DBJ is committed to building a strong ecosystem that encourages and rewards innovation by our Jamaican MSMEs. Knowledge sharing is a key part of that effort and we decided to start our 4-part series with a topic which drives innovation – Intellectual property. Intellectual property has value and we must understand how to use it to be more competitive globally. The webinar will share the experiences of two innovators who have successfully navigated the IP process.”
