IGNITE Grant
IGNITE provides technical assistance and grants to eligible innovative start-up entrepreneurs and small businesses to assist in idea development, commercialization or for the scaling of new products and service, innovation ventures, or penetration of new markets
Incubator Programmes
DBJ, currently works with several incubators that are aligned to our mandate of building the capacity, growth and development of MSEs. Currently we work with – TBR Lab, Kingston Creatives’ CreaTech, and RevUp Caribbean. MSEs are encouraged to align themselves with one.
DBJ Angel Fund
The DBJ Angel Fund will match angel investments made by pre-approved individuals of high net worth in qualified, and scalable Jamaican start-ups. The Fund will conduct due diligence on both the angel investor/s and on the start-up company, and successful applicants will be evaluated for the investment partnership.
PATENT GRANT FUND
The Patent Grant aims to support research and development initiatives among high potential, high growth, technology and knowledge-based Micro and Small enterprises (MSEs) by providing grants that are to file patent applications locally and international.
